NHS Careers Session
Over 60 year 7 pupils signed up to take part in a virtual careers session with staff from Luton and Dunstable hospital to discuss the different jobs and careers within the NHS. Our students had the opportunity to speak to Sabine Hazell, School Partnership Coordinator and Mhairi Emery, Volunteer & Student Programme Coordinator.
The students learned about the history of the L&D hospital and the skills and qualifications required the various roles in working for the NHS. They also discussed how they could develop their skills and prepare them for work in the future.
