Amy Sutton, Assistant Headteacher
Brief Profile
Amy is an outstanding English teacher with a thorough knowledge of the English curriculum at both KS3 and KS4. She has a secure understanding of assessment in English and has developed a comprehensive means of assessment without levels at KS3 English. She is also responsible for teaching, learning and assessment at a whole school level. Amy is also very knowledgeable in the area of provision for more and most able pupils and has successfully developed whole school initiatives based on academic research. Amy has delivered numerous CPD sessions, sharing outstanding practice at local and national levels. Amy has successfully mentored NQTs and trainees and has worked closely with the Chiltern Training Group as an examiner and a TST.
