Brief Profile
Umara is an outstanding science teacher with experience at KS3, KS4 and KS5 in Luton Secondary schools and is committed to driving excellence and outstanding progress at all levels. Umara has worked as a as a leader for raising standards within science departments across a MA resulting in significant improvement in outcomes at KS4 and KS5. She has Senior Leadership experience with the whole school responsibility for KS4 achievement, developing intervention strategies, appraisals whole-school policies, managing educational visits, responsible for the pastoral care of a House and developing resources and pedagogy for the secondary science curriculum. Umara has extensive coaching and mentoring experience and has guided several teachers and middle leaders to develop outstanding practices.
