Brief Profile
Shenila is an exceptional secondary Mathematics teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. She has in depth knowledge of Mathematics teaching and assessment and has developed a successful structure to coordinate the mentoring of NQTs and PGCE students to high standards. She is the course leader for the Maths TSST programme and has set up the curriculum for Chiltern Academy. Shenila has worked with primary schools to improve Mathematics teaching and lessen the gap in the transition to secondary school. Shenila has been parts on university studies to promote mathematical thinking and manipulative structures.
Shenila is an outstanding facilitator for the Chiltern Learning Trust developing from NQT’s to senior leaders.
