Cinema Trip

On Thursday 18th October, seventy-two students were rewarded for their achievement in the Accelerated Reader program with a private screening of the film Cruella. It was a wonderful and exciting cinema experience for our students, made possible by the Into Film Festival. IFF is a nationwide celebration of film in education, allowing students to access the cinema for free and engage more constructively and meaningfully with films. The trip created a buzz in school, and the feedback received from students was great, as shown in the comments below.

“An experience I will never forget; I love reading and to be rewarded for my passion is just great.” “Cruella is a fantastic film that shows the value of friendship. It is a movie mixed with plot twists and humour...a truly wonderful experience.”

“My time in the cinema was one to be remembered for a lifetime. It was a great film that shows the contrast between rich and poor and how hard work and perseverance can get you far in life. I would rate this experience 10/10 and thank everyone responsible for making this possible.
