Celebrating Diversity

At Chiltern Academy we embrace diversity by ensuring all pupils develop an understanding and appreciation of cultures and beliefs different to their own.


Professor Dame Elizabeth Nneka Anionwu DBE


In 1979, Anionwu became the United Kingdom's first sickle-cell and thalassemia nurse specialist, helping establish the Brent Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Counselling centre with Consultant Haematologist Dr Milica Brozovic. In 1998, by then a Professor of Nursing, Anionwu created the Mary Seacole Centre for Nursing Practice at the University of West London.

Alexandra Wilson


Alexandra is a barrister specialising in criminal and family law. 

In her criminal law practice, she represents a variety of clients charged with serious matters and specialises in young and vulnerable clients. Her family law practice includes private children, public children, domestic abuse and finance cases.

Nimi Oladapo

Nimi is a highly self-motivated and diligent first class MEng Chemical Engineering graduate with a real enthusiasm for Engineering solutions and process improvement within the FMCG industry. She is a STEM Ambassador & an advocate for Equality and Diversity in STEM. Nimi gained a real passion for this through her involvement with the Women in Engineering society at university & was recognised in the top ten ‘Future 100 Women to Watch 2018’, for her commitment to promoting and encouraging people from all backgrounds into Engineering.
